We are a family owned and operated Mechanical Contractor and Electrical Contractor. We became an Authorized Sales and Service Dealer in 2003. In 2013 we achieved status as a “Generac Premier Dealer” Generac’s highest achievement award to a dealer and have continued to do so each year since. Because we are a Generator Turnkey company, we have continued to thrive. Our customers have one single contact during the entire process. From helping you choose the right generator, financing options, to filing the required permits in the New Orleans area and surrounding parishes. From the installation and throughout final inspections, we do it all.

Humble beginnings

Valentine Mechanical Services, A Commercial Refrigeration and Heating/Air company owned by Lance Valentine was hired by a local contractor just after Hurricane Katrina to install a residential generator. At that time home stand generators were virtually nonexistent in Louisiana but with Lance’s background as a mechanical engineer and his electrical experience, he was able to successfully install the generator.

Authorized Dealer

With Lance in the field and his wife Kathy handling the office, Louisiana Generators continued to thrive as the popularity of home generators began to soar. With only a handful of Generac Authorized Factory dealers in 2006, Louisiana Generators continued to thrive and within just a few years, reached “Premier Dealer”, Generac’s highest achievement as a dealer with over 1 million in sales.

Today

Today Louisiana Generators is proud to employee 40 individuals, several who have been with us from the beginning. One of our most proudest accomplishments is being contracted by large national accounts to provide their customers Generator Sales and Installations for all Baton Rouge Area stores as well as the Mississippi Gulf Coast Area stores.
